On application, applicants must show active employment or other source of regular income of at least $800 a month, come within the minimum age requirement of 18 and must be a U.S. citizen. An active checking account is also required.

The Secure Money Store will accept your application and match you with a lender that has the right program for you. The theory is that when lenders are fighting for the loan application, the best loan terms will be presented to the borrower. This sort of lender shopping can also be beneficial to those that have credit problems since it would be easier to find a lender that will accept the less than perfect credit terms.
